I am a licensed K–6 elementary teacher with experience in traditional classrooms, long-term substitute teaching, intervention support, and homeschool-style learning environments. Over the years, I have worked with students across multiple grade levels and have seen how much children can grow when they feel known, supported, and encouraged. I’m excited to serve as a Prenda Guide because I believe students learn best when they are given the opportunity to move at their own pace, master important skills, build independence, and take ownership of their education. Prenda’s student-centered, mastery-based model aligns with the kind of learning environment I want to create for families. At Ark & Nest Microschool, students will have a warm, small-group setting where academic growth is supported through Prenda, while also making room for curiosity, creativity, movement, nature, and hands-on enrichment. My goal is to help students grow in reading, writing, math, science, and social studies while also developing confidence, practical life skills, and a love of learning. I want Ark & Nest to be a place where children feel safe, capable, curious, and excited to learn.
