I qualified as a substitute guide for a K-8 class in the beginning of the 2021-2022 school year. I have been a Single Family Microschool (Homeschool) Guide from 2023 to 2025. I have an AA in fine & liberal art, & adjacent study in music & psychology. My varied experience includes musical directing, being a respite worker, & I was a long-term substitute guide. Some of my hobbies are: singing, gardening, Figuring out what motivates a learner, making egg free recipes, & lifelong learning. My students would describe me as quirky, & excited about learning. I am a married mother of 4 kids. Hubby is in IT for QC. My children: Derek (14) is a homeschooler in Highschool. He will be our lunch chef. Loves Mark Rober & Hack Pack. An avid reader, with a high lexile level, & Enjoys parkour. Mary (12) Is interested in paleontology, zoology, tumbling & acro. She is a loyal friend. Benjamin (7) Wants to learn many things so his adult options are open. He loves to dance. He is a quiet friend who enjoys parkour. Annamira (3) Is a happy, playful, curious little one, with an early sense of humor. She learns just by being in the same room with us. There is a park near our home where we will spend many recesses, & do some Student-led projects.
