Hi! My name is Lisa Martin. A few of my favorite things are Disneyland, Anaheim Ducks Hockey, and Manhattan Beach. I love being crafty and making things with my hands. My husband and I have two daughters, our youngest, Ellinor, is in my class. She is part of the reason I became a Prenda Guide. She was having trouble with some kids at school, so much that she didn't want to go! Now she loves school and has a great time with her fellow students! I love being a Prenda Guide. I love that the goal of Prenda is to help the kids become autonomous learners. That we encourage them to figure out what is the best way for them to learn. No two kids learn the same. They will all progress in different ways and at their own speed. One of my favorite things about being a Guide is being part of that light bulb moment when they realize they get it! They just learned something new, they just overcame that obstacle! Their confidence in themselves grows and it's just so much fun to see!
