I am a daycare teacher turned Prenda Guide, with experience both in behavioral health (almost 2 years) and as a lead teacher in daycare (another 2 years). I am also a mom of two girls, one of whom will be attending my microschool. Being neurodivergent myself and raising a neurodivergent child gives me a unique perspective on the challenges and strengths of children who learn differently. My personal and professional experiences inspire me to create a learning environment where children who need extra support feel seen, understood, and empowered. At Little Explorers Learning Lab, I plan to use hands-on learning, “if–then” problem-solving, and real-world experiments to help children develop curiosity, perseverance, and empathy. My goal is to guide them to become open-minded, independent, and compassionate learners, equipped with the skills and confidence to approach challenges with resilience and joy. I believe every child deserves an education that honors their uniqueness, nurtures their strengths, and sparks their love of learning—and I am dedicated to making that a reality for every student who walks through our doors.
