Haajar Aziz
Developing Children's Hearts & Minds
I’m Haajar Aziz, an educator, mother of four, and passionate advocate for whole-child learning. With 18 years of teaching experience across elementary, middle, and high school, I specialize in making learning clear, child-centered, and enjoyable. I have strong expertise in math and deep experience supporting diverse learners, including gifted, ESL, homeschool, and neurodivergent students. My strength lies in breaking down complex concepts into simple, relatable steps while creating a warm, patient, and supportive environment where students feel safe to grow. I also have the pleasure of working with community members (Mini Momin) and others. We aim to use a structured yet flexible teaching style grounded in routines, real-life connections, and a growth mindset, helping students build both skills and confidence. As the founder of a micro-school and contributor to faith-based programs like Siraat (nonprofit) and Iqra (Ankaboot), I/we aim to design learning experiences that nurture curiosity, character, spirituality, and independence. As both a teacher and parent, my ONLY goal is to partner with families to raise confident, grounded children who thrive in the setting the family deems best.
