Summerset Center of Achievement

Hello! I’m Summer Lowenthal, though I prefer to go by Ms. Summer. I have two energetic boys, ages 3 and 11 (a 5th grader), a little girl Hannah, who will be 8 months and join us at school and a dog named Red Charles. We live in the Plant City area. I’ve spent the last 5 years as a dedicated classroom teacher, focusing on helping 2nd, 3rd, and 5th graders achieve success and build bright futures. Serving children and their families has always been my passion. I’m a proud USF alum with a degree in General Studies, concentrating in education. I’m Florida teacher certified, CPR certified, and I’m about to embark on my next learning adventure: pursuing a Master of Science in Learning Experience Design and Educational Technology, starting in July 2025. My ultimate dream is to lead a microschool that creates a welcoming, supportive environment where students can Practice Achievement Characteristics Every day. This concept, which I’ve had on my heart and Pinterest board long before I began teaching, is something I’m excited to bring to life now that I have classroom experience and a passion for micro-schooling. I can’t wait to get started!
