Katherine Anthony
Veteran Educator Creating a Faith-Centered Academy for Curiosity, Confidence, and Courage
With nearly 15 years in the classroom and four leading her own microschool, she brings both expertise and heart to Academy for Wonder. She holds a BS in Elementary Education and an MEd in Curriculum and Instruction, with experience teaching grades 3–6 and homeschooling her daughter through middle school. She supports learners with autism, ADHD, and other learning differences—and as someone with ADHD herself, she leads with empathy and practical strategies. Bilingual in English and Spanish, her love of music often enriches learning. Academy for Wonder is faith-based, guiding learners to ask thoughtful questions, think critically, fail safely, and explore what God places on their hearts. Multi-age collaboration is intentional, and Prenda’s interest-based, mastery-focused model allows each learner to thrive—whether building confidence or accelerating quickly—while she focuses on well-being, relationships, and joyful learning.
