I'm Brandilynn, a mom of four boys who thrived in a learner-driven environment and never looked back. After our family experienced self-directed education firsthand in Virginia, my husband Spencer and I spent years dreaming of building something like it for our own community. When we moved to this side of San Antonio and found nothing like it existed, we stopped waiting and started building. Curiosity Grove Academy was born on five acres of land with one clear purpose: to give kids a place where they are trusted, seen, and free to lead their own learning journey. Our learners get the best of both worlds, the rich resources of the Prenda network alongside the intentional, character-driven framework of the Apogee Network. I guide K through 8th grade learners with a love of storytelling, creativity, and time spent in nature, and a whole lot of heart for every child who walks through our doors.
