The Dragonfly Learning Circle

Growing up, I got to experience many different education models; public schools, single family homeschool, homeschool collaboratives, and charter schools are all on my K-12 transcript. Because of this I began thinking critically about what makes a quality educational experience at a very young age. Now that I am a licensed teacher, I want to share the best aspects of those experiences with my students to give each exactly what they need to thrive both academically and as whole people. At Dragonfly Wings Academy, I am excited to use the Prenda model to give my students individualized academic support, while also giving them opportunities to pursue their passions, to explore the outdoor world, and to develop social, emotional, and life skills. As a team, guide, parents, and students will work together to set goals and accomplish dreams, all the while maintaining that sense of joy and community that comes from learning and discovering together.
