Hi! I'm Karena Morrison, M.Ed.—a veteran home educator, Florida-certified educator, and founder of Empowered G.O.A.L.S. Center. I hold certifications in Elementary Education (K–6) and Exceptional Student Education (K–12), endorsements in Reading and ESOL, and a Master's Degree in Curriculum & Instruction with a concentration in Gifted Education. With more than 25 years of experience as both an educator and homeschooling parent, I've worked with learners who have diverse strengths and needs, including gifted and high-potential learners, twice-exceptional learners, neurodivergent learners, English learners, and students who benefit from a more personalized approach. I believe every learner deserves to be known, valued, and empowered. Our microschool provides a calm, supportive environment where learners develop independence, confidence, and a genuine love of learning through personalized learning, meaningful projects, and strong family partnerships.
