Hi! I’m Karena Morrison, M.Ed.—a veteran home educator, certified educator, and gifted education specialist who is passionate about supporting learners who think and learn differently. I am a Florida-certified teacher with certifications in Elementary Education (K–6) and Exceptional Student Education (K–12), and endorsements in Reading and ESOL. I also hold a Master's Degree in Curriculum & Instruction with a focus on gifted studies. I bring over 25 years of experience as a home educator and the parent of three twice-exceptional children. That journey shaped my heart for individualized learning, family partnership, and creating environments where learners feel safe, capable, and supported. Our learners will experience a calm, supportive microschool where learners are known, valued, and empowered through self-directed learning and meaningful projects.
