Teacher with 10 years experience Empowering Learners Through Personalized, Hands-On Education
Hello! I was homeschooled for all of my K–12 years, and I’ve known since I was five that I wanted to be a teacher. I started dual-credit college courses at 16, earned my associate’s degree, and then completed my bachelor’s degree at Stephen F. Austin University. I’ve spent the last 10 years teaching in public school, and I love guiding students as they grow academically and personally. I’m passionate about teaching in an environment where kids can learn kindness, honesty, and integrity from biblical examples of Jesus. I believe every child deserves personalized learning that meets them where they are, not a one-size-fits-all approach. My goal is to make learning meaningful and hands-on so students can complete their work efficiently while still enjoying childhood and family time. In my Prenda microschool, students will experience mastery-based learning tailored to their needs, opportunities to explore their interests, and a strong sense of community within a small class. I plan to offer monthly outings, real-life experiences, and engaging field trips alongside all the academics your child needs to thrive. Together, we’ll create a space where learners feel empowered, curious, and excited about learning every day.
