2026-27 School year- ESA exclusive school, 1st-2nd Grade: I was a retired Mesa Public Schools elementary educator (also Gifted Program and Science Specialist) until I found myself educating in Prenda's reimagined environment in 2020. Linda Allen will be my Co-Guide, and it is her 6th year with Prenda. She is a retired educator as well. Linda has amazing skills and musical talents she enthusiastically shares with students. She will guide kids on Monday and Tuesday in my home, and I will guide on Wednesday and Thursday. This school caters to focused children, working above grade level in reading and math, in need of an extra challenge. We do a lot of critical thinking and STEM activities to keep them challenged and creating like an engineer. We also follow Come Follow Me and supplement church-related content where we can. We infuse Gospel related social studies and science content in our time together. For example, the light of Christ is connected to: What is light? How can we use a battery, bulb and wires to create light? Our content truly makes the Gospel come alive in their eyes!
