Hello, my name is Michelle Culmo. I grew up in Huntington Beach, California. After graduating from California State University, Fullerton, I went on to earn my teaching credential. I taught in California for several years before moving to Camp Verde the summer of 2019. While teaching at CVES, I was warmly welcomed by staff, students, and families, and quickly felt at home in my new community. Once we started our family, my husband and I prioritized having the flexibility to shape our sons’ education around their individual strengths, pace, and interests - something traditional classrooms often can’t fully provide. I created this microschool to give our kids and other families what education should be - personalized, engaging, and rooted in real connection. I am very excited about this new journey!
