Hello! I'm Liz Notrica, founder and teacher of SPARK Academy. With more than 25 years of teaching experience in Arizona and California, I've had the privilege of working with students across multiple grade levels, from elementary through high school. As a certified special education teacher, I believe every child deserves to be known, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential. My passion is creating a learning environment where students feel confident, challenged, and excited to learn. I enjoy building strong relationships with students and families while providing personalized learning experiences that help each child grow academically, socially, and personally. Outside of school, I love spending time with my horses, exploring the outdoors, and rockhounding throughout the Southwest. I believe creativity, flexibility, and hard work are essential qualities both in the classroom and in life, and I strive to model those values every day. I'm excited to partner with families and help students build confidence, develop a love of learning, and prepare for success in high school and beyond.
