VOD Christian Academy was founded out of a desire to offer families an intentionally small, relationship-centered learning environment-one where faith, academic excellence, and character development work together. Children should be encouraged to grow-not only in knowledge, but also in confidence, compassion, and opportunities to fulfill their calling and purpose. With over 15 years of classroom experience across elementary and middle school settings, I have taught students with various learning styles, needs, and abilities-gifted & talented, ESL, SPED, students with 504 plans & IEP's. I have spent years helping youth build confidence through the arts-music and singing. These experiences continue to shape my vision for learning that is creative, reflective, and rooted in purpose. The learning space will be a place where students will feel safe to ask questions, take educational risks, and find their voice. I believe that education should honor the pace that brings comfort, while students master their specific individual goals. I am guided by my Christian faith, and I believe that every child is created with inherent worth, unique gifts and talents, and the capacity to grow. Guide Asst.
